The goal for the student is to write an essay that answers what is financial literacy? How does it effect my personal circumstances? And the importance of being financially literate in the time of a recession.
The essay has to be a minimum 2 pages that includes but not limited to: Past, present and future data around financial literacy, cited information from wealthy and/or entrepreneurial people, Personal summary on how being financially literate can shape your life, and how can someone who works a job/intern can take advantage of some of the perks and tax breaks that surround financial literacy! The 4 winners will be chosen starting April 1st, 2024. We want you guys to really expand on your knowledge and explore different opportunities that the world has to offer. Be creative, be inquisitive, but be mindful, the rabbit hole can go deep lol. Try not to get lost in the idea or necessity of entrepreneurship but look to be inspired and uplifted by the stories you learn about!
For submissions, please submit a PDF document of your 2 page essay that can include charts and photos to admin@jumpthebroomcleaning.com. Be sure to include your name, phone number, email address, and what college/university you plan to attend!
